I have drawn and painted ever since I can remember and have tried working with just about every medium available in the past 30+ years. Over that time, I have developed a love for the airbrush, a highly versatile artist tool. From my introduction to the airbrush when I was 15, I have worked to master its many uses. I have created works of art on everything from T-shirts to canvas, motorcycles to wall murals, and helmets to basketballs. It is through many, many hours of trial and error that I have achieved an artistic level I feel comfortable with and am proud of, although I work everyday to get better.
I created "Paint Effects" to offer a complete custom painting service to the Kansas City area and beyond. I specialize in mural work for residential and business clients; however, I can paint on any surface. This means that I can paint a wall mural for a daycare business; as well as the shirts for the employees, the computer at the front desk, their van or bus, and create the sign for the front of the building. This is a time and money saver for any business. Even if you do not reside in the Kansas City area, I can paint items and ship them to you, as well. Helmets for a baseball team, a leather jacket for a friend, a motorcycle tank and fender set for your spouse, or T-shirts for the kids; the options are only limited by the imagination.
I use only environmentally friendly, water-based acrylic paints for all my painting. If an automotive clear coat is required, I will use only the highest quality clear in an approved paint booth. I believe in making the world a more beautiful place through art, but not at the expense of the environment.
